they put a lot of effort in redesigning the whole pvp system, of course since FFXIV isn't known for their pvp, the time and money invested needs to pay off somehow. Adding exclusive gear/mounts/titles and what not to it, lights people's interest. It can be a good or a bad thing, but that's why this armor set is PVP exclusive and not available somewhere else, or at least for now, we might find it 3 years from now on the mog station. Please look forward to it

I would just like some good looking sets for PvE. PvPers can have good looking gear too, but man... so far the PvE gear just looks bad imo. I'm just hoping that somewhere down the line omega will give better looking gear. I know some people like the new sets, but they're not my cup of tea. We should all be able to get good looking sets, but I know they have to have different styles to appeal to different types of people. Some day I'll get floored by an amazing PvE set. Some day...

I was wondering, why do The Feast has the right to get amazingly designed and exclusive gear, when we raiders just get the leftovers.
I don't care in getting this gear, I don't care if it's exclusive

Raid gear is exclusive to raids too. What's the problem? I won't get any Omega gear this expansion until they unlock undersized because my group prefers to play together and we don't have enough people, but that's the choice I make for sticking with them and not joining one of the dozens and dozens of Omega groups recruiting every day. The only difference is that the Feast gear is limited, but it's still very possible to obtain it if you have a strong drive to do so.

It's weird because the new Feast set (which I do think looks awesome) actually incorporates a lot of features people complain about in the billions of previous gear design threads. Butt skirt, check. No clear indication of job, check. I like it but if this was the raid gear and the Genji sets came from Feast I bet there'd still be complaining.

Stop talking about exclusivity, because firstly raid gear isn't exclusive, as you mentionned you'll go undersized it later while the PvP gear is obtainable only during this season and never later, and secondly because it's not the thread's point.

So is the problem the gear looks good (which is your personal opinion based on a pretty illustration, comparing apples with oranges) or that it can only be obtained by a limited number of people, which is what I thought the problem was until you just said it wasn't about exclusivity?

It's about giving crappy gear design for PvEers and all the good gear design to PvPers. And it's not only my opinion, there's a whole thread about how crappy are the latest raid gear.

What is this poor glamour excuse everytime? You know at some point people would like new gear to use as glamour, but since it's getting worst and worst we only keep glamouring the same which is getting boring. I'd like to look less casual and naked using lvl 1 glamour, and more fearsome and epic using end game gear content. Which actually is impossible.

Idk why its even a big deal cas let's be real nothing is exclusive in this game anymore it will most likely be on the mog station in a difrent form in a year anyway
