they put a lot of effort in redesigning the whole pvp system, of course since FFXIV isn't known for their pvp, the time and money invested needs to pay off somehow. Adding exclusive gear/mounts/titles and what not to it, lights people's interest. It can be a good or a bad thing, but that's why this armor set is PVP exclusive and not available somewhere else, or at least for now, we might find it 3 years from now on the mog station.
