So, I guess most people already saw the new The Feast season's reward.

I was wondering, why do The Feast has the right to get amazingly designed gear, when we raiders just get the leftovers and ugly gears.
I don't care in getting this gear, I don't care if it's exclusive, but why in the world all the gear design goes for a minority of people and all the other gear are copy/paste of previous gear (aka latest craft gear, hello World of Darkness and SE's lazyness, and many other craft gear). Does SE only have 1 armor designer left? Only tomestones gear look original, and the latest one isn't even SE's creation. Please. I won't even talk about the summer's event gear, this goes in the same category.

Because the feast reward only goes to the top 100 in their respective data center (or even worldwide idk)

So between 100-600 people will have it ever, and it NEEDS to look good otherwise there's no incentive to try to get to those ranks.

Raiding gets you better stats and unique fights along with personal enjoyment.

PVP gives nothing except personal enjoyment, hence people need to be incentivized to do it.

World of Darkness + Moonfaire

You completely ignore the fact that the new crafted WoD gear and Moonfaire set are a dyeable versions of their original counterparts. I don't see an issue with SE giving us dyeable versions of gear that originally couldn't be dyed.

It means reward are a plus and if people are doing a content only for the rewards then this content doesn't work.

How do you know they're not doing it for the ranks or bragging rights? There's people out there who want to try and be #1. How would they show that off if there's nothing exclusive to tell people "I worked hard to earn these special items"?

It's the same argument as savage raiding. Why do they get exclusive items when PVPers just get the leftovers?

so you are telling me they make the raid gear ugly on purpose to incentivize people to play pvp?

i mean: yes, it NEEDS to look good. but that's not the point. the point is: why is the raid gear so ugly? so it's ugly because it has good stats and the fights are unique? does that really make sense?

Progression, people will wear it for few months and they will dump it
because 1) better gears released 2) lack inventory 3) -NOT- an exclusive for calamity salvager.
It's common to put least favored on fastest things people want new stuff for.
If people never wanted new content for raids, maybe they will put an exclusive for it.
