I also think we shouldn't be able to teleport to aetherytes we have yet to visit. It takes some of the fun out of the game. inb4...

Well, i never saw a SE worker puting gun to myhead and saying "teleport, you pile of copper ore!" walk or port, is your decision. It is so amusing to watch people whine that game allows people to do something.l usually its the other way<_<

The energy flowing under the planet is similar to the life stream from FF7, the Aetherite are harvested collections of this energy and are similar to Materia and materia fountains.

We are all actually dead ghosts and we travel the life stream and materialize at the Aetherite.

When we teleport we are dissolving back into the life stream and then being re-materialized again at our exit point.

the lore is actually there, you just gotta read into it.

lol seriously. that's like me starting a thread at mcdonalds.com and demanding they change the 50 nuggets deal to $50 cause i keep ramming 50 nuggets down my throat every day for $10.
