Teleport NEEDS to be changed!!

Can't. It looks too much like a WOW clone. Plus I can't get passed the shotty character animations and ice-skating that goes along with a wow clone.


If Square Enix wanted to make my wildest dreams come true, they'd create new FFXI servers for new characters only. I bet these new servers would draw 100k people.

Oh man that would be a dream come true. I recently started a fresh character in FFXI and it's sad that all the lowbie areas are empty. Not feeling too optimistic about XIV's future if they decide to listen to the current players who think the game is okay as it is.

i can agree achieve things, but we get nothing from it so they don't matter. just because it is something we enjoy in the game does not mean that everyone else does. i can tell you i died countless times when me and a friend ran south of coerthas trying to get to that north camp in mor dhona. all the pesties and drakes in south coerthas were tough to get through, but after a few hours we were able to make it through that whole area while grabbing nodes on the way.

personally one thing i hate is not having the ability to talk to each other in parties via voice chat. it makes the game feel less personal, but that is my opinion. i understand mmo's are not known for that type of thing, but most of us use a vent or skype server to chat neways. it allows communication during just that long boring craft grind alot more bearable and setting up br's in nm fights alot smoother.

I have to admit, I hate teleporting, and I think that aetherites should just be removed all together; especially now that they are no longer needed to refill MP. Instead of "aetherite camps", I'd like to see towns and villages (aka, quest hubs).

However, if they remove them, they need to add transportation (chocobos), even if we gotta wait until R30 or something to get it.

honestly a troll asking for troll suggestions should play the game anyway. Proof is you already got sent to gm jail. How about vs a gm jail all rule breakers are permently banned and ISP banned.

Abyssea DID break FFXI. There's a reason every other piece of endgame is obsolete and there are rank 2 lv90s who have never been to crawler's nest.

Also, as far as Rift being a "WoW clone" that argument is thrown out. Rift took things from EVERY GAME and made it better. The graphics are not shotty at all, while they are not FFXIV quality they are nice and not copy paste environments. The biggest thing is hey NO LAG!! Theri system is much more polished, and everyone saying "WoW clone" and FF will always be better....I thought the same thing. Don't judge till you try it is all I'm saying.

People want innovation for the sake of innovation. Heck, I remember when we got some SS's of XIV that showed a mini map and people started screaming WoW clone. It is the irony of the genre. Just like when people say they want games with alot of people to play with, then they avoid games with large populations, and complain about the lack of population in their choice of niche game... Apparantly only stupid people play popular MMO games, the real intelligent ones, play MMO's without enough people around them to classify as Massive.

Am i missing something? You do -not- have access to all teleports straight off the bat, you have to either run to the camp yourself or have someone who has been there take you.

The only people who didn't have access to any telepoint in the game were the people who played on Sep 22, 23 and 24. After that, pretty much everybody had all the telepoints since your friends can just warp you there.

There were only a SMALL amount of people who actually had to walk to the points themselves. Now, SE gives no reason to do so.

If people want to explore all the points, they will. If they have a friend who wants to blow 100 anima teleporting them to every single camp in game then that's their choice.
