Interactive Furniture - Could we have non-interactive versions, too?

We recently revamped our FC house and like Steady in this thread Items Disappearing in House we're over the limit of 40 interactive furnishings and it is making some items disappear, most noticeably the fish-tank at the top of the stairs which now only pops into view when you are close to it.
I've culled all I can without making the place look bare, but since nearly all the food items are interactive it's hard to find alternatives.

So, I was wondering if it might be possible to add some non-interactive versions to the crafting list? (using the same models as are already in the game)

    For example:

    An ever-burning incensory
    Wax fruit
    Glade/Oriental/Alpine Tea set
    s - a realistic model of... etc
    The Breakfast sets
    The Supper sets
    Starlight cake and Dodo
    Valentione's Cake

The food in our FC House very rarely gets eaten, but it adds a lot to the atmosphere and makes the place look lived in.

What do you think? Would these be a good addition to the game?
Are there any items you'd like to add to the list?

I'd like eaten/non-eaten versions of all the food. The only time I'd actually like it interactive for people is if they made a version that lasts forever and just triggers an emote without actually consuming the furniture item.

Doesn't food become decoration after it's used up? I mean it's supposed to stay look the same but not interactive.
Haven't had this problem in a small house and I have tons painting and food, but spread out.

The food is gone once you use it up though, and it's just an empty plate.

    All my yes.

It would take away those unsightly arrows, prevent some furnishings not loading due to too many in one area being interactive, and you could individually choose which furnishings can be interacted with so you don't risk losing something rare or expensive while allowing others to be used freely.

How to get rid of those arrows

Making it so you don't lose certain items would also make some mogstation items worth the purchase. Right now the fixtures/wallpaper/food being destructible makes them worth far less than any other item available.

Unfortunately not. As Acilith said, eaten food usually leaves you with nothing more than an empty plate. However, it still counts as interactive.
I just put down 10 Starlight Dodos in the FC house to test this out - furniture disappeared.
I ate them all (the things I do for science!) and the rest of our furniture still didn't display correctly.
Once I removed the empty plates, everything popped back into view.

As to not having the same issue in a small, personal house, I guess you simply don't have that many interactive items. In a medium to large FC house with all the bells, crafting stations, never-ending journey etc, as well as vases/flowerpots and food, it's very easy to go over 39.

Good point Dusty. I hadn't thought of that.

I feel like having entirely separate versions of items would clutter up the MB/crafting logs/vendors/whatever else lists items. What if, instead, we were given the option to make a furnishing interactive/non interactive when we put it down? Seems the most elegant solution.

They need to address this too. Mog Station fixtures shouldn't be destructible, if nothing else.
