I am curious, can this work the other way around for them? In the case Spiro stated, they could have report the leavers for interfering with their game experience which in this case was to play the duty with the CS.I'd make damn sure to report them, I do report premade abuse:

3.2 Disruption. You may not in any way disrupt or interfere with the Game experience of other players, including the disruption of Square Enix's computers and servers.
Depends how things are said, in that story the premade was forcing people to do something, and that is a violation. Most speed runs are like sure you can watch cs but we are running it like normal and most of the time this is where there is no violation on either end. as said I even saw kick passes on people harassing newcomers for watching, so ya that is a violation.

It's been stated by GMs that, in Duty Finder, majority wins. Meaning, if 3 out of 4 want to speed run a POTD, then they have every right to kick the guy who is going for chests. Likewise for story content, people can speed run through if the majority wants to. Would I personally do that? No, I feel the overall experience of others is more important my single selfish gain. However, that doesn't make my personal beliefs any higher than the rules that are in place. There is nothing reportable about what happened.
Not getting into everything else, just want to point out that in this case, the PF argument essentially only goes one way, and that is for players that want to take it slow to use it.
Because 'speedrunners' aren't doing CM/Praetorium for any rewards specific to these instances; they're there for the daily roulette reward. So outside of DF, there is no need/desire for them to run them at all.

A tale as old as time, a song as old as rhyme...
This thread has covered pretty much all the arguments now, so I'll be brief:
- The dungeon is poorly designed, SE knows this, and has not repeated the mistake in later content. The amount of time spent in cutscenes in CM and Prae are pretty outrageous.
- SE has no intention of fixing the problem. Fortunately, there are workarounds, particularly as the higher level caps make unsync runs easier and easier.
- "If they want it their way, they should do it in party finder!" applies to BOTH sides of the argument. Duty Finder puts you with random people with uncertain goals, and once in, majority rules. Majority usually means, skip cutscenes, finish quickly.
- Both sides have very good arguments. New players should be free to experience the dungeon as intended. Old players should be free to finish the dungeon quickly and efficiently. Sadly, these goals are pretty incompatible.
- Removing the roulette, or forcing viewing of cutscenes are terrible ideas. New players depend heavily on veterans to fill their parties in Duty Finder. Skipping cutscenes sucks, but waiting hours or even days for a party sucks more.

I disagree. The entire time I've played this game and also on my first run the consensus has appeared to be that new players may watch the cutscenes while others melt the mobs and bosses. Both MSQ dungeons can be 4 manned and the lack of 1 or 2 new players during fights is completely unnoticeable. The only exception is probably if they are both tanks or both healers. I have never, ever seen any new player having to skip cutscenes to make duty completion possible.- "If they want it their way, they should do it in party finder!" applies to BOTH sides of the argument. Except that new players have no indication in game that the story dungeons contain so many cutscenes, whereas experienced players do know that but choose to queue anyway. You can't expect someone to make a PF for the purpose of watching 45 minutes of cutscenes if that person doesn't even know there are cutscenes. Not getting into everything else, just want to point out that in this case, the PF argument essentially only goes one way, and that is for players that want to take it slow to use it.

All this dilemma would end if SE remove those msq from thedaily roulettes. People shouldn't come with the excuse of them new players won't be able to do them cuz queue time will high rock. This way the new players will be forced to use PF and actually interact with their LS / FC.
Those all msq dungeons should be done or formed by the new players that way they can set the rules and people won't do something that will prevent them to enjoy those CS. Thebold players won't be getting the reward and better nor complain nor the new players will be told stuffs or prevent them from gaining exp or experience the walking thru in the dungeon cuz they stopped to watch the CS while others just went ahead.
An old player sbouldnt be forced to help strangers nor a new player shouldn't be forced to tolerate the. Bad attirude of another stranger.

Glad you think the populations are doing so well they can afford to lose new players at lvl 50 lol
I am not thinking we are doing that well. SE needs to falldown this much to notice their horrific mistake they did. If they dont do something about, SE will continue giving excuses with some in game contents.
This type of content is part of the customer experience and their game and service. It is this bad so this will show SE the numbers that they need to do something about it cuz it is not just new player complaining but old ones too
They have made a change. Not to the old content(SM and Prae), but to the new by not including so many cut scenes into the dungeons/trials other than at the beginning as you are entering, and the end when leaving.I am not thinking we are doing that well. Those two dungeons were a bad decision on their part to include the scenes in the middle of them, but they haven't made that same thing happen at all anymore. At most you have a 1min cut scene now.
