Where are all the healers?

Because I'm an elitist that doesn't want to queue with people in DF that don't even know what does it mean "dodge an AoE" (Is it that difficult to do a basic performance when you are lvl 70 in DF?). And I don't mind accidents happening, but I do care when the accident is your own existence.

I mean AST gets like 500 DPS only by keeping the DoT up, is that much to ask? I dont think its a difficult task that requires you to be a master raider or anything.

It apparently does! We all know putting up your only DoT as an AST is extremely hard for those lazy people who just like to stand there doing nothing.

As a healer, once the healing is done I don't get what healers do if they don't DPS. Eat pizza?

for the other healer, who complaining about should dpsing with the amount they gave you, take it easy, n pretend thats some kind a test for you, if some one blame you just watching like a hawk and waiting them make a mistake, n turn the table!!!!, u WON, if u still looser, just quit.. dont be seasonal healer! be STRONG

They probably keeping an eye out for the next thing to hit. Could be a less confident healer who'd rather play it safe than DPS and find people have eaten AoE's, a tank buster has happened or something they hadn't considered. There can also be IRL distractions taking place where it's just easier to do the basic healing. Because I am sure a number of us had somebody walk in and start talking to you when running something.

Granted I am sure there are people being lazy and possibly eating pizza, that much I don't doubt. But having known less confident players, heck some who aren't necessarily as on the ball and heck even some form of handicap to affect their reaction speeds, I won't make any assumptions about the person healing if they're not DPSing too, as there's a whole number of reasons why they might not be, including the drunk and tired. Don't get me wrong, I make the effort myself, I know there's spaces for a healer to DPS. But I understand why people don't always.

As long as people do their job, then I'm not sure what the problem is. It's in the name: Healer. The fact is, Healer DPS is terrible, so it's a tertiary concern for them to throw out a stone/Aero/malefic, and only when they feel comfortable the tank isn't going to get himself killed. You think a healer has time to kill mobs when you used sprint to rush into the next room and pull 3 sets of mobs?

Healer DPS is terrible? I handily outdamage most duty finder DPS in Expert roulette on trash pulls. Aero 3, Holy, and Assize do a ton of damage if your tank is competent.

I easily out damage most as a WHM on trash pulls, and that's the majority of dungeons.

A better correction is probably AST/SCH DPS is terrible, or at least, AST is. You have to play very aggressively to get decent DPS numbers as AST. I haven't leveled SCH to 70 yet but I hear things aren't too great over there.
