A thread for those who enjoy FFXIV

I only started to play at the end of June when SB came out. It took me 5 weeks to do 1 to 70 following the main story and grinding here and there when needed. I have found this game really refreshing, after playing WoW for a number of years and a very old FTP Korean MMO called Knight Online.

When I finished the story mode, I did think I didn't have anything much to aim for and I am realising how much additional content is packed in the game. I can see myself being engrossed in the game for quite some time. Currently I have an ilvl of 315 so I'm doing the normal farming for gear and I have been enjoying the Vaith beast tribe storyline for my dailies.

I have to say, as much as I may complain about some things, I do genuinely enjoy this game. I've clocked 5'621 hours according to Steam (!!), and love logging in. I have a list with all jobs I need to level in them, and in the order I'll be levelling the battle jobs. it's really cool to do.

I like the game as a whole. Thats not to say i dont have issues with it, but i am satisfied for what i pay for.

I love this game. I've loved the world since 1.0, fell in love with the gameplay and new characters in 2.0 and continue to have wonderful experiences throughout all the expansions. Thank you to SE and it's dedicated developer team for this game and the continued work that goes into keeping it alive and growing.

SB is everything FF done horribly incredibly right. The story was engaging and memorable, characters actually had personalities, and it actually felt like we were on an actual adventure! Loving every minute of the game. =^u^=

I really like your names (character name and forum name).

Also I enjoy the events that pop up every couple months. Halloween is usually my favorite but Moonfire Faire is a close second. I'm not a fan of spending days doing the same dungeon over and over for gear (too busy doing all the content) so I'm delighted with the dye-able shisui set we can get from the Faire this year.

So much to do, I'll never get done with it all, and that's fine by me..I'm in no hurry I want to take my time and explore it all.

I'm enjoying it a great deal so far. Like some, I have some issues, but nothing that even compares to the positive. So far, I probably like this more than Heavensward, although its still a bit unfair to say since SB is not even kind of done yet. We'll see how the next couple years go.
