Can't get Bird in hand quest. Not there. xfered recently.

First off, I emailed support they told me to post it as a bug. Then there was NO reply to any of my issues or how to fix them etc. And my forum post was moved to "working as intended" So its intended that I dont get to color my chocobo? I dont understand. I want to color my chocobo. And the game isnt allowing me to due to a quest error where I am not getting the quests at all. Says I haven't done a quest that I have done, so I can't get the quest I need done.


1. Transfered from ultros? I think thats the server
2. Leveled to 70
3. Part of FC and have ownership of a house with 2 others.
4. Went to Central shroud to get the quest "Bird in hand" not there
5. Checked recent quests to see if I had done the pre req's for the quest
6. I have done them all except "My fiesty little chocobo"
7. I HAVE my mount as a companion already because I already did that quest on the other server before I transfered.
8. I went to see if I could get the quest from the guy in south shroud.
9. No quest searched everything everywhere but the stable at the fc and at my house both say I dont have chocobo raising which requires the quest "Bird in hand"

Afaik completing the quest "My Feisty Little Chocobo" in South Shroud is indeed a requirement. If it doesn't show up on your new server that could be the problem.

You are still part of a grand company right? (never transferred servers myself)

You need to be level 20+, part of a Grand Company, obtained the Chocobo License and completed the quest "My Little Chocobo".
After that the "My Feisty Little Chocobo" quest should unlock.
And after that you need to be on a level 30+ character to complete "Bird in the Hand in Central Shroud (Bentbranch Medows).

Is your bird a legacy bird? If so you could try to reclaim the chocobo whistle from the Calamity Salvager on your new server? Afaik this auto-completes these quests? (Like "My Little Chocobo", etc)

Or another guess, if I read it right the "Bird in the Hand" isn't at the starting point NPC "Keitha" in Central Shroud (Bentbranch Medows).. How about the follow-ups at NPC "Little Leia" and "Margault"? You didn't start it before on the other server and need to continue it or something?

That's all I can think of atm? Strange!

When speaking to the calamity guy he doesnt do or give me anything -
There are absolutely no quests in central shroud for me ):
It shows me as not completing "My Feisty Little Chocobo" but I did do it on the other server and already have my mount as my companion that I can use in game :/ and when I go to get the quest from south shroud it is not there at all
