WHM has incredible healing throughput. It's to the point where for o1-3s my WHM partner almost solo heals and I back up every now and then with an occasional Helios.

Wait, isn't it opposite? Ast usually heal more than whm and whm mainly on attacking. To back up this, whm dps in fflog is far higher than ast.

For DPS min-maxing, yes it is better for WHM to be the "DPS" healer and Nocturnal AST to be the "main" healer.

I really don't see how anyone could say that about WHM. Out of all the healers they lost the least and gained the most! The only thing Whm truely lost was access to physical Virus (as did all healers.)

WHM is able to buy back every cross class removed. That is a tired argument. You didn't get anything new? Well gee. AST had synastry nerfed and gained largesse. SCH had embrace nerfed. AST lost 80 potency of regen from LA to Lucid. SCH lost 10% from aetherflow, making them caustically vulnerable to mp problems. WHM gained 80 potency in mana regen, while also getting a god tier mp reduction to 0 ability.

WHM had two issues in HW. Terrible. Awful. Hopeless MP issues and this identity Crisis complex with ast. WHM now has the strongest MP "management" of the 3 healers. AST has branched fairly far from WHM taking nerfs to personal dps entrenching itself as low petsonal dps, high raid support healer. AST just has an absolutely mind numbing dps... errr... rotation. WHM gets Aero 2, which again got buffed in this expac, aero III, assize, and the most potent filler of the three healers. I just don't know anymore what people want.

What? WHM is in a decent spot right now, but they currently have the fewest abilities of all three healers by a pretty decent margin. The removal of the 20% boost from Synastry was a buff. The healing steroid is now decoupled from the healing copy ability, and may be used together or separately as the AST chooses. Largesse was a nerf to WHM, not AST.
