Rule of thumb: Always check to make sure the group is behind you before charging ahead. I learned this on day 1 of tanking. Yet i'm surprised how whenever i heal this gets forgotten, and i can't even look at loot before they nyoom off 3 rooms away.

Iirc, the % damage reduction caused by the entirety of some 4.5k Defense is still under 20%. Your 15% is then 15% of that, so really more like under 3% damage reduction. But you could always cast it before the ring falls, unless they're sprinting immediately out of the cutscene. This should also occur only once per instance, whereas Sprint should be occurring every 60-100 seconds, with the death of every gather.

Because on large pulls it means you're taking less hits due to the distance you create with the previous mobs you just aggro'd which leaves you with a good amount of health to soak up the hits when they all converge on you + the other group you just pulled. I only pop sprint right before I start pulling a large amount of mobs and the healer has more than enough time to pop sprint as well to keep up. Hell I usually pop sprint with my weapon drawn so that they can visually see me sprinting.I'll never understand why a tank would use sprint in the first place in a dungeon after aggroing a mob. Just run with your team . . . problem (mostly) solved.
Anyway assuming you as the healer are geared properly and using heals over DPSing, if the tank still dies because he pulled a million mobs then the fault lies 100% with the tank. Grinding dungeons in this game shouldn't be stressful to anyone involved. If it is then you're doing it wrong haha.

This didn't change anything for me, since I've always used Sprint anyway. Especially on DRK, for I used no TP on big pulls whatsoever. But I did Sprint on WAR and PLD as well, so.
I hate this too OP. If you look away just for a second and they sprint off you can't sprint to catch up anymore because well... now you're running at the same speed....

Not going to lie here,
I think it is funny when the tank sprints off, leaves the group behind then either dies or really has to saved. I don't even mind if it wipes us and we get to do it again. Sprint all you want, I don't play to be in a rush. I will do what I can to keep you alive, but that is it. I have had them sprint off before my screen loaded up for the next room. Then he/she got mad. Blame the internet! LoL
The point - sprint if you can while you watch the group. If the tank or healer or even dps is just leaving the rest of the group... Well, crap happens.![]()
I still want to know what everyone is doing with that extra 5 to 10 minutes they got from rushing. Must be some kind of serious secret... or maybe they just think they can so why not? Heck, I don't know, but it is still funny.

A good tank should do this, however, a good tank will also apologize if the healer wasn't ready.

No, because I'm ALWAYS keeping an eye on the tank. It's literally a healers job.
If I see them sprint, I sprint.
I know there's been a few times that as a healer I still have sprint on cooldown from the previous boss fight, and guess who missiles away.

A team that sprints together wins together.
A healer that doesn't sprint means bad times for everyone involved.
Don't be a bad healer, use your legs. Sprint is very good cardio!
