Reasons why SMN is frustrating and difficult.

~Why is it that if you summon a pet with weakness, the pet remains weakened for the entire fight unless replaced?

Has been tested and proven untrue, weakness does not reduces pet dmg, I think it's in another SMN thread, it was tested with both SCH and SMN pets and 0 gear dmg and heal were the same

~Did you know since they nerfed Ruin 3, you're supposed to basically skip your first DWT and you're supposed to just use Ruin 2, Tri disastor, Ruin 2, Shadowflare, Ruin 2, Deathflare?

Can some one elaborate on this? Do I just Dreadwyrm Trance then Deathflare or Dreadwyrm Trance, Ruin 2, Tri disastor, Ruin 2, Shadowflare, Ruin 2 and then Deathflare, cause neither is really skipping Dreadwyrm Trance just plowing throught it or is there some way to just get rid of Dreadwyrm Trance that I don't know about cause I can't do more Aetherflow stacks till it's gone

It's actually ruin 2 > painflare/enkindle > ruin 2 > fester > swiftcast > ruin 2 > fester/DREADWYRM Trance > (swiftcasted) ruin 3 > tri disastor/shadow flare > ruin 2 > deathflare/aetherflow

SMN has become a very demanding job whereas RDM is just "is blue above white or white above blue ?. Never mind, in fact idc... "

Something else that would help summoner would be a gcd aoe spell (2.45-2.6 sec) that is not tied in anyway to aetherflow or any other stack/attunement. Smn is the only caster without a spammable aoe spell ( I don't count painflare due to the 5 sec cd)

I don't even know why that spell is still a thing, whoever sat in a conference room and said "Ok lets get rid of Miasma II and keep Tri-Bind" should have their feelings hurt

to be honest i am at the edge of quitting the game if the dev team or yoshida do not speak soon about the changes to it .... i am even struggling in pf no one want us any more to join their raid they put only blm and redm its sad and i dont feel happy playing the game any more and i REFUSE to play red mage or black mage .....

Dont be ridiculous please. That's beyond childish. They will sort the class... Eventually but I think they waited to see how things are moving with savage.
