Mounts have gone out of control since the day the fat chocobo learned to fly. Now we have Water Serpents that fly high in the sky along with armoured bears while the fat chocobo still hunts a cake down under the sea.

So seriously, it doesn't matter anymore. whatever may come, it doesn't matter anymore.
