Disclaimer, this is my personal experience.

As an RDM, I rarely rarely rarely touch Vercure in savage, dungeons, etc. The only time I do is when I'm panicking and think I'm going to die through some fault of my own (out of range of healers, made an avoidable mistake, botched a mechanic) for the most part, the only other time I would use Vercure is if I want a swiftcast during a phase change or to give the tank a little breathing room while I dualcast Verraise on a dead healer

Only thing I actually use vercure for is for having a dual cast before boss pulls in pugs where I don't trust them to give me a 5 second precast tbh
