New Player to FFXIV

MY character name is Emlyn Drakard, I'm playing an archer right now I'd be happy to group up with you I'm pretty new though so still learning a lot of the basics

I'm normally on between 5-11pm EST.

Hey there,
Yeah would be great to have someone around to kill stuff. Last night I got to level 13 by annihilating dozens of Dodo's. If your around my level then we can do some of those little dungeon type things. I never got into much of it when I played a while back. I will probably be ingame at that time. I am also EST time zone so send me a tell or just reply here.

I'm new to the game as well, and confused about a lot of things lol.
I am having a lot of fun so far except for the fact that there is no one to talk/listen to while playing.
If anyone has a reccomendation for a linkshell, please let me know.
If Emlyn and Yaroth want, we can start a linkshell.
I may be wrong, but people in this game don't seem to be very concerned with new players.
Everyone I saw was busy hacking at a node or sawing on something lol.
Well hopefully I can find a group of people to talk to soon.
