Lobby server connection error 2002

Hi! regular connection, I play PC windows 10, I don't use Steam just bought the game from the SE store. Thx for reply!

Try these things,

Make sure your system isn't doing any updates or pending background downloads. ( this includes gaming systems like ps4 rest mode were it downloads auto ) make sure your anti virus /firewall program isn't interfering or lowering your resources. ( Also hopefully no one is using your internet with out you knowing. )

Check your connection speed. fast.com will test it for you and it's free.

Reset your modem/router. Make sure server is online for FFXIV. IF your wireless try being wired and see if that helps. If it does there could be something interfering with your connection depending on your equipment or may be time for an upgrade.

Note: if your in an apartment complex or dorm and they offer internet that may be the reason sometime depending on how many people are using it at once can interfere with online games.
