Animal motifs for RDM/SAM?

MCH is a parrot. Because pirates I guess. The parrotliege set is in turn a recolor/ helmet swap of BRD's birdliege set which might actually be a peacock or some kind of crested fowl. Personally I thought it was a rooster.

All I have to go off of is the Samurai ability Enpi. The kanji used means "swallow flight" or flying swallow or something of the sort.

But is it an African or European swallow

To be honest, the first thought I had for an animal motif for Samurai was a dog. Partly because of Yojimbo and Daigoro, and partly because of the Nanso Satomi Hakkenden story.

Realistically, if the devs ever decided to go and update the animal PvP sets for RDM and SAM, as creative as people want to be, RDM would get a slightly modified BLM set and SAM would get a slightly modified MNK set. The same thing happened to AST, MCH and DRK. Go look, they are mostly recolors, maybe an extra accent with modified helmets.

Because of this, I figured RDMs would've got a fox set since BLMs have a wolf set. SAM might have a little more creative leeway since, aside from the helmet, not too much about MNK's set defines the "hawk." But otherwise, SAM would be represented by an avian in the same vein as MNK.

If they do ever go back and give the 2 new jobs an animal PvP set that doesn't follow that formula, great. Though that'd be spitting on HW's 3 jobs in a sense.
