I agree with the OP. I made a thread about this a while ago as well, very glad to see SE doing it this way. Hopefully they will add old seasonal rewards to this ticket system but would prefer if they make it so you still need to place in top 100 in new seasons to get old top 100 rewards with a special voucher/ticket while putting new rewards in every season as well but only getting to pick 1 reward for a top 100 placing regardless if it is new or old. If it ends up being a grind, at very least, I hope they make it crazy long enough to keep these items very rare like mentor mount or 3000 comms mount or tiger hunt mount.

They were advertised as exclusive, so if you want to press square enix to false advertise for previously exclusively items I'm sure your ideas won't be greeted gently by the vast majority of the PVP community. PVP has changed entirely now, and therefore it should not intertwine with previous exclusive items as you are essentially no longer playing the same mode.

I didn't grind for the shiny yokai mount, I didn't get it. Therefore I simply do not deserve it. Nor do I wish for it to be reinstated in the future as a possible mount reward as it should be a reward for players who did it during that time, making them stand out as a veteran. Is it so hard for you to not have everything?

They would still be exclusive. Exclusive can mean timed or exclusive for doing certain requirements which could be placing in any seasons top 100 to get a choice of one exclusive reward. But I'm just voicing to SE what my perfect product would be for an mmorpg.

I participated in the first 3 seasons, and would consider myself certainly skilled enough to place within top 100, but work and real life didn't permit me to stay actively in the competition. I didn't get those rewards, and I'm still alive and breathing. The sun still rises each day, and I don't even miss those rewards I didn't get.

I'm not even sure I'll bother with Season 5 because I can guarantee I can live with or without the new rewards too. If this token system will allow them to be obtained later, I have even less motivation to get in on it RIGHT NOW, and that's an issue worth noting. I'm not entirely convinced this is a good idea, but I've seen worse decisions regarding the Feast made in the past. . .

I really like how the new armor looks and was excited to earn tickets for it, that is, until I saw it's gated behind top 100. This decision single-handedly kills any initial interest I had to participate in ranked, and I know I'm not alone in this. I'm sure the exclusive rewards will satisfy 100 special snowflakes, but for the majority of the playerbase I think that makes for very poor motivation.

There is not top 100 actualy, its more like top70 +alts.
but well its better like that, if you are not rank 100 you may get weapon and not accesory nobody care about.
