Have you considered adjusting your UI? I have my buff bar, gauge, and my impact/verfire/verstone/verflare/verholy buttons all located in the same 2 or 3 inch square of my screen so that I just have to glance down at a single spot to know exactly whatever I need to about my resources, procs, buffs at any given time.

There is a distinct difference between 'simplifying' a job and dumbing it down and this kind of thing really feels like the latter.

I'm not saying it happens often enough to be an issue, but asking for something that, for me, would be a QoL thing, doesn't feel like simplifying the job. I'm not advocating for what the OP stated, and the OP even changed her mind on that because Jolt 2/Impact do have reasons to be dualcast. Niche, but they exist. Actually not having the choice would frustrate me more, as I can choose to J2/I to go from 78/79 to a melee combo in 1-2 gcds, or flop around between Veraero-Verthunder a bit to get what I want.

As far as my own UI, I have the debuffs, buffs, boss HP, and my mana gauge all fairly close to each other. I have them all enlarged because my eyesight isn't personally the best (some of my static was surprised at how big I made that specific part of the UI). But to add:

Huton was made into a part of the UI. As were GL stacks and Chakras, Umbral Ice/AF, Enochian, etc all were made into bigger parts of the UI for easier at-a-glance workings. I see no real reason why Dualcast couldn't just be tapped on to the Mana meter we already have in some way to help out in a similar fashion, but that said: it works as is. But so did GL, Chakra, UI/AF, Eno, cards, etc.
