Another easy way to make gil is to see what monster drops sell (hides/leather/wools/meats/etc) and send your retainers out to get them and sell them. I'm assuming since you don't like gathering that you leveled both your retainers as combat classes so they can get you valuable materials to sell like Gazelle Hide, Manzasiri Hair, Halgai Mane, Twincoon, etc.

Easiest way right now is Hunt... for cracked clusters for battle Masteria 6.
after that is tank/healer and quene leveling for Cracked cluster.

anything else is kinda waste of time.

wonderous tales gives free gazellskin maps, do that, plus you can sell the minions off it.
