Pretty much this. SMN has a legit 2 minute rotation before it repeats. Off the top of my head, I think there's only 2 20 second sequences where you literally have nothing to do but Ruin.A Ruined Mage.
Jokes aside, on Cooldown times you have to spam Ruin III/Ruin (squeezing Ruin II here and there) always minding your MP, control some Pet actions and reaplying dots manually or with tri-disaster if up in time for next Aetherflow/Bahamut phase. There's nothing much to do outside this. Also it is best to try to align Bahamut with the next Aetherflow so you can make Bahamut hit more times as well.
