I main mnk/blm so the mobs and boss gonna die fast and my tank-self will be forced to sit into tank stance the whole run.
No comment for my healer-self though but just imagine some dps try queue roullete as healer for faster queue.
The other me's would laugh at the tank-me for occasionally running the wrong way in a dungeon.Sometimes, we get stuck in a dungeon because no one remembers the boss mechanics or how to make that door open.
As a fighting unit, we'd be a well oiled machine because of the synergy. I think I'm proficient with all the roles.![]()
Paladin, White Mage, Red Mage, Ninja. All rushing half-asleep.
We'll use Sprint on CD and rush like mad, though most likely won't wipe on the trash because the tank is too chicken to do huge pulls, uses as many defensive CDs as possible and casts clemency on herself when her health drops to 40%. May miss a damage telegraph due to all the blinding Holies. Passage of Arms will be used at the wrong time but Medica II and Cure III will deal with the damage. In the Temple of the Fist the tank will use Cover on the Touch of Slaughter target before Ivan's cast goes off and give the healer a mini heart attack, so she finally wakes up... But by that time the DPS will be dead because they used a gap closing/creating or animation locking ability that put them at the wrong place at the wrong time. The White Mage will resurrect the Red Mage, then die herself because she tends to tunnel vision while ressing. The Red Mage will resurrect the White Mage, then die to mechanics for the same reason. While the ninja tries to determine what the floor tastes like and the mages take turns resurrecting each other, the tank hopefully manages to save the fight with lots of clemencies and CDs.
Just returning to the game after a few years, browsing forums, and found this thread.
My reply?

You're all going to die down here.
It would be: SCH, SAM, SMN, WAR
Warrior: mass pulls everything - probably undergeared and underfed pls just smol angry healer main trying to let rage out
SAM: Would never remember to do the correct combo rotation; consistently hits the buttons with mouse instead of keyboard because she's unfamiliar with the layout and changes it 99% would scream "MY COMBOS" in discord everytime she pulls off that nice 3 point attack. cries about going from 2nd on the threat meter to 4th because they forgot combos and stood there for like 3 secs just AAing.
SMN: forgets they can raise all the time, but has really good aoe dps and keeping up with rotations. spams maybe too much ruin 3.
SCH: rages at sam for being so focused on rotations and standing in the aoes; does not raise after 3rd time dying to mechanics. gets slightly upset when warrior expects huge burst heals, and gets really upset when warrior overpulls and dies but blames healer
I'd probably kick warrior and samurai me tbh.
This thread is way more funny than anticipated. Good read with early breakfast guys, and nice one OP.![]()
might i mention that samurai me is so FOCUSED on combos i forget about aoe markers.
combos r life
jk im just bad
The whole party made up of 4 copies of me?The whole party would macro every ability, weapon skill and spell to have AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH tied to it just to see how fast the text box flies by.
Oh hey nothing was here
