Allag Empire

It is maybe a silly question but where was the capital of the Allag Empire exactly ?

Is it mentionned somewhere in the Lore ?

I'm almost positive that it was Silvertear Lake. It's where Xande was entombed when he died, it's where the Crystal Tower was built. He was able to flee from the royal palace into the tower when the armies of the resistance marched on "the heart" of the Empire, from which he attempted to open the voidgate. It requires some mental gymnastics to make all of that fit without it being Mor Dhona, though I don't recall an airtight citation at the moment.

I hope we'll get one day more information about Allag. Did it spread over all Eorzea and Osthard or just around Mor Dhona which would surprise me since it was supposed to be the most advanced civilisation at that time.

It spread across all of the Three Continents, meaning Aldenard, Ilsabard, and Othard. (I think Vylbrand was also included? I don't recall any specific Allagan remnants there, though.)

Technically the Allagan Empire also included the southern continent of Mercydia, but I'm not sure how long Allag had to really occupy the place before Xande turned into Thanos.

Vylbrand was probably included, given that Seal Rock is somewhere in La Noscea and we know it's filled with Allagan Tomes and was the resting place of our friend Omega. Although I don't recall Allagan ruins in the actual landmass of Vylbrand, unless the Nymians buried it deeper down or otherwise disposed of it.

i thought carteneau flats was the resting place of omega, not seal rock?

And you'd be right! I got confused with the DF for Seal Rock saying "a proving ground for Omega and other technology they developed to combat the primal threat." Omega was indeed under Carteneau, they just tested it in Seal Rock lol

Vylbrand was probably included, given that Seal Rock is somewhere in La Noscea and we know it's filled with Allagan Tomes and was the resting place of our friend Omega. Slightly belated, but I was going through the 60-70 SMN Job quests, and it does confirm that Seal Rock is Allagan in origin. In fact, it's an artificial island created by the Allagan Empire to test out stuff, presumably including Omega, and also most of what the SMN questline has to clean up.

Just further confirmation of the Allagan Empire spreading through all of Eorzea, including Vylbrand and its surroundings.
