    I have no idea how to fix Flamethrower and Overheat in general.
    some people found good advices about that :

    -Heat is a ressource capitalized for maintaining ehanced shot and cooldown usage
    -Overheat gives you a meaningfull damage boost during cooldown stacking
    => this should already be the case, I know.
    -Flamethrower consume the heat for AOE damage instead of overheating.

    Instead of having a FT that is punishing if used between 0 and 95 % heat (due to either having to be clipped at end to avoid OH, or not benefitting of OH bonus because it was triggered before OH), why not making it a tool of heat dissipation ?

    Just..........make your turret stay out after overdrive. Just make it not attack for 30 seconds.

    It's annoying to re-deploy. And if you miss by a few seconds (avoiding AOEs, forget) it's still a DPS loss.

    Also keep Gauss barrel on. Just disable the DPS bonus or something.

    They should just:

    1) Revert 4.0.5 changes to quick reload
    2) Increase Hot Shot to 10%
    3) Keep Gauss Barrel on
    4) Keep Turrets out (just disable attack for seconds)
    5) Increase enhanced shots potency by.......10? or 20 each.

    This will give it more DPS than Bard, but less utility.

    Flamethrower orders your Turret to use it instead.
    Rook: Single target variant at 80 Potency (effectively 240 potency every turret 'GCD')
    Bishop: PBAOE variant at 40 potency (effectively 120 AOE potency every turret GCD), no fall off.
