I think he mean that fleet of foot would become useless since in battle you could go passive, move where you want to and go back active without any delay. So you'd have the same movement advantage simply by switching back and forth between active and passive.
I agree that it'd render fleet of foot useless. One way to solve that would either to make tp down to 0 when switching to passive instead of just rapid lost or simply to replace fleet of foot by another ability.
As for my opinion about removing the delay, i'm for it, keep everything else related to the modes like the regen in passive but remove the delay.
Alright a more justified reasoning then. That saidm what you stated in bold = the solution to that problem and quite frankly should be the way it is from the start.
Then people will whine about TP loss when going mob to mob if they lack the fleet of foot trait. In that case it goes back to being a highly coveted ability to have.

Isn't that the point of contention? Removing the stoppage of your character while sheathing/unsheathing makes Fleet of Foot useless. If TP goes to 0 without Fleet of Foot, it makes Fleet of foot useful. Hurr durr.
Edit: Point of post isn't about fleet of foot. Fleet of foot was brought up as an ability that will be made useless if removal of stoppage of avatar in world while sheathing/unsheathing was implemented.
The solution mentioned quells those fears, giving justification to the trait, while appeasing the many who dislike the non-fluid gameplay. win-win.
Remove active/passive delays and change LNC trait to something else like increased attack distance as I said before. XD
Another simple fix.
I find it funny how people are for changing the armory system(the entire foundation of character development in game), the entire battle system(adding auto attack removing stamina)...
But fleet of foot is too much to touch. LOL
Rework this entire game from the ground up! touch my fleet of foot, we enemies!
Seriously though w/e is done to calm the souls of the LNC population I don't really care but this needs to be fixed.
I am still for non-offensive casting in passive mode though!

You know I wasn't speaking to you personally! :P Was just an observation about how irrational the people here are. I want the game to be fun, I don't see how stopping when you unequip your weapon makes the game more fun.
I do like the armory system, but that's for another topic.
I was merely making an observation about how ridiculous people sound... Stopping while you unsheathe your weapon is PERFECT, but everything else about the game is bad... lol right. There are probably more than the two or three solutions we have proposed to make this a good fix, but obstinate and irrational thinking seems to triumph here.
I was just purely being silly but I understand. I don't even have LNC at rank 1 let alone have fleet of foot so I could care less. You speak the truth though. This forums has been flooded with topics of "everything I like is perfect, everything I don't like is broken FIX NAOW!"You know I wasn't speaking to you personally! :P Was just an observation about how irrational the people here are. I want the game to be fun, I don't see how stopping when you unequip your weapon makes the game more fun.
