I think the misinformation regarding just how good tenacity's mitigation component is actually causing a lot of problems. Apparently a lot of pug tanks are under the impression that even in a party with 7 strangers that may or may not be skilled enough to support stance-dancing, tank stance is now optional because "I've got full tenacity melds" and there's no need to turn it on even when half of your "weekly clear group" is tanking the floor. I'm all for aggressive tanking, but there's some serious idiocy associated with the meta's stance on this stat. I've noticed it a lot lately, tanks that have no business trying to spend the entire fight out of stance, with healers that have no business trying to heal it, doing it anyway, not even turning it on when a healer dies, or when they have weakness or a vuln stack. Tenacity melds don't excuse this... hopefully this goes without saying.
