4.0 Tank melds and right side optimisation.

So.. tank drama aside What are the current recommendations for melds and right side accessories?

Does Tenacity mean anything or is it about as much as Determination?

Should all that be skipped for adding Strength and Critical to all pieces?

I haven't hit lv 70 yet so what is the general rule of thumb to go by for now?

Tenacity is garbage. Go STR for right side, or det if on gear you gonna replace soon.

Always meld strength on the right side if you can. Strength affects our damage which in turns affects our emnity generation.

Yeah it's unclear until someone does further testing on all the stats (waiting for dervy atm). Napkin math shows that direct hit scales at around 0.45% dps per 100 points, based on your dps at 0% direct hit rate.

Technically, 270 Slaying accessories are BiS right now. If the devs don't update that before Omega, it'll be what many tanks opt for after prog. Probably even before.

I have 12k less life when I put on STR jewelry. That's a ton (almost 25% of my life). You really can't suggest that STR jewelry will be king like that. Even in the ex trials currently you're on the edge of surviving. I rather stick with the VIT and have enough a buffer to survive anything without dropping to a sliver of HP.

Interesting question then. Provided you can't skip VIT acc and tank stance at the same time, is it better to be a VIT tank in DPS stance or a STR tank in tank stance ?
