More weapons

seeing Warriors with greatswords and stuff.

I would love to see a greatsword on my warrior. The 290 job weapon for warrior looks just like a scythe as well so warriors could also use scythes.

This will not happen since the weapons are locked to classes (well jobs) and until SE makes some big changes to the class system it will stay that way. so I would cross your fingers for 5.0

It's the entire basis of the armoury system. Taking that out would be like taking materia out of FF7. XIV needs some things to establish its own identity.
