Is there anyway that we could be made to dismount our chocobos automatically when entering a town or dungeon on our chocobo, and possibly moving to the stable when entering a town? The magic chocobo repelling forcefield is ruining my immersion.

"You cannot proceed any further on chocobo-back, dismount?"
Y/N?
i dont mind getting knocked out by the wall of chocobo hate, but would be nice if it didn't happen y i thought the zoning in ffxi was awesome but at the same time annoying.
Would like to see them add something in which will kick u of the bird so u don't knock urself running into the wall ><

dismout before entering a city or dungeon?
I agree it would look better, but since with version 2.0 we will be getting zones that take a little time to load between each one, I think this issue will be addressed then. Or at least, I'd raise this point again if when approaching a town once we have the new map and zone system, we still are met with the 'chocobo force field'
But no, it shouldn't be too hard to at least throw up a prompt that says 'Dismount' Y/N even now
