Map in Sastasha

Looking at the map in the Captains Quarters in Sastasha it dawned on me, i have no clue where this is meant to be. Comparing the slice to the Ironheart map i cannot find these three islands with this coastline anywhere.


Any clue what the captains map is meant to be?

Looks like a map of Limsa. The 3 things in the SW are the rock formations that Limsa is attached to. The Eastern ladmass is the western shore of Vylbrand. Specifically Middle La Noscea. Can't be sure, but looks like it.


The chunk of land on the north side of the map could be Western La Noscea.

It also looks a little like it could be the sea off western la nosca. Those three islands could be the isles of umbra. Not sure, but possible.

I do believe you are right! The coastline matches imperfectly with the old Western La Noscea. The two large "fangs" are missing. The three isles however are conveniently off-screen on the old map. Could they be of the hullbreaker isles?
