I can't wear that one on my WHM, and that made me sad because it was my favourite type (the WHM skirt might be similar, but it's lacking the stockings). Now I'm getting a wearable and dyebale version of it, which is even better! I'm definitely not complaining, haha.

really, this version is worse for dyeing purposes...that red accent color on the edges doesn't blend as well with colors as the gold does on the original striking set.

Which doesn't change the fact that the moonfire faire set shows the scouting shoes, instead of the striking ones.

Yes, but the shoes on the Faire set are not the ones from he Striking set.

that is true - either way willing to bet most people wouldn't use either boot style... talk about hideous.

If I remember hearing correctly events after the launch of Heaven's Ward were pretty bad for a bit. I would hardly call a different variant of a popular dungeon set "lazy". Let's see that happens around Halloween, they kind of just finished making an entire expansion.

We'll see what else if offered at the Moonfire Faire when it's announced.

But seriously, I'd much rather them make swimsuits with different designs than this, ahah.

The events feel small and unimportant in this game. Things like this only go to help in that overwhelming sense of inadequacy. If you've ever played a holiday in XI or god forbid... WOW... then you would understand why people are saying these rewards feel lazy and not enough. I personally liked the style both XI and wow took where they kept the items from previous years available for people while adding something new and different each subsequent. Most notably the Oktoberfest event in wow changed the static npc events to reflect current events in the game. I think people aren't mad they just want Yoshi ,and company to try a little harder. There was a ton of reuse in this expansion from mobs to armor and weapons. Something needs to be done about production seeming like it's being done in a closet by 2 guys. Although I love the story thus far as per the usual for final fantasy.

I want Yotsuyu's Kimono...but I guess it will go straight to the mogstation at some times in the future.
