I'm not sure what being female or male has to do with it. But no, sure I wouldn't want to wear the same one forever. I'm just mentioning an actual (as in labeled as a swimsuit, I feel quite a few other glamours can be used as such) swimsuit that was available for no additional cost besides continuing to play that almost everyone should have in ADDITION to the event swimwear that many people are complaining about being the only swimsuit they can acquire without using the cash shop.

Up until a year (or was it 2?) ago, you could buy half a dozen swimsuits off the holiday vendor. THAT'S why people are complaining.

Oh, understand WHY people don't like that they've limited the purchase of certain things to cash shop only that used to be available. But claiming that this is the only swimsuit, or that you can't get a different style is a little untrue. I'd love it if they made everything available to everyone again for gil purchase (or event token purchase!), maybe I wouldn't be surrounded by a kabillion variations on Joi Faire thingy dyed another color. I'm just saying pertinent arguments are the most convincing. It's neat to note that they have verified the necklace invisibility thing is a bug and will be addressed though.

This gear is also called the "Moonfire" set. I wonder why the Moonfire set is the set that is craftable in game :/.

Me too. Seeing someone swimming with socks feels just strange. They could have cut the sock and give us the head piece instead. Its already bad that it has full shoes but the combination with the socks just make it look like an everyday gear and not something you want to wear while swimming. I mean it gets full of water thus makes one heavier which means that you will likely swim worse. Also normally you dont wear anything under your swim pants..wouldnt this one mean that people could peak under your rock all the time? x) (Or is there something there to prevent that, other than another pants?)

Would have been nice to have two leg pieces, one with the thighhighs and one without; or for the guys one with the...not sure what they should be called, and one that's just trunks. That way we can have it both ways.

Yeah this is just...horrible. It's bad enough getting sand in your bikini but on your whole leg too XD no thanks. FWIW I hate sand I never go to the beach lol.
