[SB Final Boss Spoilers]So i have a question

Like i've searched a lot of threads and i didn't see anybody talking abt this but why is Zenos/Shinryu capable of using the power of other primals? Is this something we still don't know or is there something somewhere that answers this?
Like it took me a while to realize that when Zenos says "The powers of the gods are mine to command" or something like that he means it LITERALLY as in he's using the ultimate moves of other primals during the fight. I guess it has something to do with the "corrupted aether" mechanic but i was wondering if we have an actual explanation to that.

Maybe because ilberd thought of all the other primals and their abilities and just kinda mashed them together in his own concept of a super primal... since it wasn't a previously known primal it has no history and therefore no skills of its own directly attributed to it... primals are the result of the summoners concept of what it should be made manifest...

The desire behind Shinryu was for a primal whose destructive potential surpassed Bahamut. The ability to use other primals' supers seems part and parcel with that idea.

It's not uncommon for Shinryu to use multi-aspected spells in the history of the franchise as a whole, but to narrow it down to in-world explanations, keep in mind that Bahamut's calamity (which is what was on Ilberd's mind when he summoned this primal) was aspected every element at once, all tilted astrally. If Shinryu were to aspect and discharge aether as a powerful attack, an observer would likely associate those attacks with the ultimates of the aspected primals regardless of if there was any true connection. You see primal lightning, you think judgement bolt.

I like to think this explains the places it isn't necessarily the same skill. Diamond Dust didn't make a skating rink; Permafrost did.

I think it has something to do with what the Warriors of Darkness were doing before Urianger meddled. Arbert mentioned trying to push them into turning to a new deity after constantly breaking their gods. Then Elidibus gives the Eyes of Nidhogg to Ilberd, whose boundless rage and bottomless despair creates a new primal encapsulating hatred of Garlemald and frustration towards the Eorzean Alliance.
