*spoilers?* Please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks urianger(sp?) is evil.

So obviously there's the whole thing with the ascions (sp?) but that aside, urianger just bugs me... Like, I'm now about to do the first lvl 70 story quest, and just.... All this time up to now he's always bugged me.
Showing up randomly, strange plans, he is just always around weird and I wouldn't be surprised if when was actually evil.


Does anyone else get this feeling or am I just over thinking it?

I forget his name maybe elidabise(total butchery) post credit scene it's prolly it urianger. Towards the end when he shows up with the crystal to help you fight fordola and he tells later how he figured out that she had an echo like trait...i call BS. He knows because he was there too watching playing the roll of a double agent. Or maybe it's just Totaru behind the mask, all thoughrout history behind every major catastrophe was a lala.

He has zero motivations to be evil, and every motivation to be good. He also knows the consequences of facing off against the warrior of light.

He'd never betray us, so long as he remains in his own right mind.

During the msq there was a part where this was hinted greatly and then we found out he was being a "double agent". But this is the thing with double agents only at the end we truly find out their true motivations. What I believe atm is that although I think he is not necessary "evil" there might be a twist on his true motivations further down in the story.

Based on what we know too much darkness you get the Void, too much light it's a barren wasteland purged of all life. It's possible he playing both sides to maintain/setup a balance.

I don't think he's evil and I think it would be dumb if they made him so anytime soon as a plot twist.

Why? Because this was done already.
They feigned his feigned betrayal in the Warrior of Darkness arc in HW (plot twist started at the end of ARR).
Turned out he was really on our side still.

They pulled a bait and switch with Urianger already only to go "Oh, he's actually really evil this time!"
Even if that turned out to be true, it wouldn't have a good story impact anymore.

He's just cryptic, speaks in riddles and keeps a bit to himself.
But that's more of a trope he plays off of and why they already did the betrayal feign to show he can play the anti-hero (misunderstood).
After that, his role is pretty cemented most likely. At least for a while.
