Rmt bots

Every day i go to starter city I port to main crystal and bam get hit with rmt say over and over every 20 sec. Then I go to marketboard only to get bombard by more say spam rmt. You can report them but 10 sec after one vanishes another take it place. Can't you as gm set your own bot in these areas to read chat and when you see gil seller spam to either ban or even just kick back to title screen making bots useless.

Problem I find with the black list, is that it does rapidly fill up. I went through the other day(was bored while waiting for a node to pop up) and dropped it from 150 to about 60. All the ones I deleted from it were "(Unknown Character)" - or whatever it is when a character gets deleted.

And it's rather pointless as one particular bot might only last a day before it's gone and a completely different character takes it's place so BL is hardly blocking anything. And as you said at some point you're basically forced to spend the time manually removing them one by one by hand to free up more space on your BL.

I really wish they could find a better way to address this issue, I'm sick of having to constantly report/blacklist every time I'm near a city market board. D:

It's one reason I stopped going to the city market boards. I use the one outside my apartment, or near the FC house. Or Kugane.

That's a good idea, I'll have to actually start doing that. Just so used to the city boards :P

I made a suggestion which would fix the problem entirely for very little work on SE's part:

This suggestion would nuke the problem altogether.

Maybe if we can drum up some visibility/volume they might see it and implement it.

That's a good idea, I'll have to actually start doing that. Just so used to the city boards :P

If you use Kugane, or even Ishgard(Foundation -> Jeweled Cozier) one, then you are guaranteed not to run into them. There is literally 0% chance of someone putting the effort/money into getting to those areas as it would be very fast for them to be caught and account banned.

I have found using the report RMT option makes them disappear pretty quickly.
