My main character had mounts and minions from dropped and reputations. (no Mog station)
SE could do them in account-wide for us alts?

No. You can do everything on 1 character in XIV, there's no reason for this.

FFXIV is built around having one character. If you want multiple for whatever reason, you'll just have to accept that fact - RP that your other character has to earn them themselves or something.
There is no apostrophe in Au Ra.

Wouldn't have a problem with mounts and minions being server-wide, in other words available on all your alts on the same server. Only mounts and minions though.

Part of the problem with the alt system is, any means of transferring an item to an alt allows you to transfer it to another player, nullifying the lock completely. Unless/ Until we have an account based storage chest it isn't really possible.

I hate to be the one, but other games like allow for just this. You can send character specific things that are binded to your character and untradeable, to your other alts. It's all done through a simple check on the receiver when you try to actually send anything. It's not that hard.

Those other games were also created with that in mind from the start, and need it because the majority of players would have multiple characters; that isn't the case here. Just because it's done often doesn't mean it's simple to implement, either. It takes development time and testing that could be spent on things that are useful to the majority of the playerbase.I hate to be the one, but other games like allow for just this. Those other games generally aren't designed to allow you to play every single job, both combat and non-combat, on a single character.I hate to be the one, but other games like allow for just this. I personally wouldn't mind it if they added this, but it's just not going to be a priority to develop in a game where you're really meant to do everything on one character.
