we know that. I would not care about the drop rates if i didn't see. You obtain an ifrit's wand, but you can only hold one type of that item so you throw it away....
So isn't the answer to go back to party based loot lists so that never happens instead of making all primal content into some straight currency grind? Kill x many times and get your weapon?
To me taking away loot kills a lot of the accomplishment. I want to feel lucky when I get a drop. That is fun. What is not fun is not having any control over the drops I won and seeing them needlessly wasted.
That doesn't take away from content if you feeling are lucky makes you feel good then go to the casino irl. The fight it's self is the content weapons are the Reward for beating the content which the system does not promote.
