Utsusemi: Ni BCNM Yes PleaseI agree. If totems were 100%. Or the dude receiving an weapon or a totem. If it was the case, then increase the number of totems needed...but 100% drop rate when you get no weapon is a must.
If that's the case, we could have some other minor prizes, like a "ifrit horn" (crafting material), maxed tier IV materias, rare/EX accessories...stuff that aren't THAT good but that don't leave you with the wasted time feeling.
totem should be used as money win fights say 10 trade in to the old man for a weapon.
100% drop on totems is ok if you have to get a few to get a weapon since you will have to win the fight again & again.
Nah, Moogle should drop nut charms random and we have to run to them. So the first person who runs to them first wins! And then it should require 200 charms to get it. Each fight can only spawn 5 nut charms! We already have parse whores; we just need charm whores now too.

The problem with this is it's "too much like WoW" so you know how the community feels about that.
1 totem per party per win would please me.
Whatever method increases my feeling of "yay I'm making progress!" and decreases the "...omg this is hopeless" feelings then I'm all for it.
Really do wish the totems was 100% drop. 140 kills for all 7 weapons does not seem that bad. Only took me 118 ifrit kills to go 7/7 while others had to do a lot more. Then there are those people that are lucky bastards and at 4 weapons in 15 kills on the moogle. This whole token system doesn't really matter. I for sure am not going to blow my 20 nuts when im not 6/7 on weapons. I bet ill get 7 unique weapons before I get 20 nuts at the current rate I am going.

I Agree. That was the entire idea of the Totems, I thought.
100% drop rate, but 20x per weapon, Deal!
