I play all three roles fairly regularly, but if I queue as a DPS or don't bother with roulettes for days at a time. It's because I want to play that job or am preoccupied with something else, be it in-game or not. I am not obligated to make your queue times go faster just because I happen to have a tank and healer leveled. Expecting I should be only makes you seem selfish not the other way around.

No one is obligated or required to make your queue times faster. All it means is that you have to wait 30 minutes or so. It's not the end of the world.

In general though, due to the nature of the roles, people with tanks and healers leveled would normally run with friends.

Please don't do this on a Japanese world group unless you actually speak those languages or intend to make an effort to communicate with auto-translate, or you will end up blacklisted/reported on a regular basis. Though they removed language requirements for some content anyway, and you can probably do fine in the group where Tonberry server is located.

This is completely false. As someone from Tonberry I have never been blacklisted, nor has anyone else I have spoke with - It's frequent advice given in NN when people are discussing queue times and it always majorly helps them.

I main heals and I have a 60 tank now. I run countless leveling roulette daily (because I have a cluster addiction) and I do the Expert Roulette when I fancy healing something.
Question is: who's going to heal/tank my runs when I want to level my BLM/SMN?

I usually help people when they ask me, but I've pretty much stopped signing up for DF solo, because after a long day at work, I'm just not up to doing speed runs, which is pretty much the norm in roulettes.

Request help from FC. If your FC's members live on too different time zones than the one you're in, consider changing FCs.

As a healer main (occasional tank), I rarely go in roulettes by myself. My FC has plenty DPS mains whose queue times are horrendously long, and if I can help, I will - I'd think plenty other tank/healer mains do this as well, if you try and find them.

Wait, wait - you're calling us selfish and in the same sentence say we should "at least" offer help because you picked a job with long queues?

You have a right to play whatever you want to play, but you should be aware there's ALWAYS some implications, good or bad. For DPS? Well, enjoy your high potency nuke spells - and have fun with queues as well! As for me? I'll enjoy my insta queues and also people yelling at me for not managing to throw them a protect before they sprint off.

There is players who you know prefer to play as dps

No problem with it.
But they should also accept the contra of their choice (which mean longer queue), and not demand only the pro. Every choice have pro and contra.
If they start to complain about their choice because of the contra points outweight the pro points for them, then they should rethink their choice.

I'm also unsure wether all the other "solutions" we've heard for this problem are actually viable - aka putting 3 dps in a dungeon or getting rid of the whole healer-tank-dps-system. Both might be easier said than done. The first option might help a little - the second one would alter the whole game...
