

A job having one strength doesn't mean it's balanced.Can someone explain how WAR is "Literal trainwreck." (I agree) Yet everyone makes these comments like Praesul (sorry for single you out, just using yours as example really as they are in this thread): "WAR already deals really good damage on their own AND increases their team's damage." and "hey should be able to survive, but not as well as the other two. It's a tradeoff for the damage they deal."
If the damage WAR's can output are actually material better then the other two, then it would not be a trainwreck. The issue is, its burst is not really that materially better pally (if it is played that way) and/or its sustained damage seems less then DRK.


Onslaught cost being removed would go a long way, but on its own it's not the only change that should happen. WAR needs reliable cc, and Onslaught having it's cost converted to either TP (and maybe increasing it's damage or adding a stun, or lowering the cooldown) OR removing the cost entirely would solve that problem, but it still needs better heals or mitigation. It doesn't have to be anything insane, I don't think it should be as tanky as PLD/DRK but it needs SOMETHING that isn't tied to holmgang or sitting in defiance pooling gauge all day (which means they're ignoring the purpose as to why you bring a WAR: Damage)
The Maim thing is just a small thing, I find it weird that they have such a low potency combo.
