DPS Queues (This isn't about what you think it's about)

i agree with the OP and i don't even usually suffer DPS queues. it's not only long cutscenes that get in the way, sometimes you just really want to pay attention to the dialog and once that thing pops you always feel rushed as you know other people are waiting for you.

if it pops it should just kick you out of the CS/dialog and let you restart it when you get out.

Just started a long cutscene? DUTY POP! followed by the delay of any animations in the cutscene, as well as the 'blank screen flash' then having to open my character screen, AND change to the class I queue'd as.. but guess what? took half a second too long, 2 strikes! one more and i can't queue again for a while at all!

Yeah, IMO for the journal SE needs to make it so you can replay ALL cutscenes. Like I'm playing a Visual Novel right now, and it's nice that I can go back to a save and replay a conversation that I found funny or interesting.

Again, skip the cutscene and accept the duty. Simple.

Your claim that you're being "punished" by skipping the scene is objectively false. You can few the scene in your room right after the duty is finished. No difference between your suggestion to "reset" the cutscene. Both result in you being able to see the cutscene after the duty. If it's actually a cutscene, it will be in the book. If it's just dialogue, you can escape out of dialogue and it will reset like you want.

Are you sure? I seem to be missing some cutscenes from the WHM questline 60-70. If I skip them for duty, if they're not in The Unending Journey (and like I said, some seem to be missing), then my only recourse would be either new character or YouTube (assuming they're there). I don't think that's really fair.

Again, if it's an actual cutscene (meaning it cuts away and changes the camera angle, etc), you won't be missing it. When you're viewing cutscenes in your book, you have to click the arrow on the right side to see subsequent cutscenes in a "set".

If it's just dialogue, you don't have to speed through it, you can just press esc to cancel if the queue pops and it will reset dialogue.

As I answered it in my original 3 posts, then answered it again later to someone else. And It is far to assume someone didn't read it if you already gave the answer not once, but twice, and yet you ask the same question again. It's called reading comprehension, something they taught in schools when I was there. Paladinleeds has ALSO answered this several times, which lends credence to my assumption that you did not read it.

So let me spell it out for you you special little snowflake. And this is the last time I will. You, cannot view EVERY cutscene in the game, in the Unending Journey. If by chance I happen to skip a CS, that is not view-able in the Book, and am unaware that it is not there to be viewed later then I have been punished in the manner I have previously stated, and missed out on a piece of the story-line.

And my suggestion, as well as some other peoples suggestions in the thread, would remedy this entirely.

I even used italics/bold to emphasize important words to help clear it up for you.

Except you didn't. The fact that you're willing to spend time making personal attacks at posters rather than actually responding in a polite and rational manner indicates that you have no argument.

I made a valid response and even replied to Paladinleeds' response as well. Paladinleeds is doing what you should have been doing from the start rather than getting angry and attacking people.
