Yes I wasn't too sure as I have never actually tried it.This isn't possible if it's a Main Scenario quest. I don't know if all the MSQ cutscenes are in the book (I think they are), but if there's an MSQ cutscene not in the book, then you'd have to resort to either a new character, or YouTube (if it's there), since you cannot cancel a Main Scenario quest.
When I entered Loches first time, there was a cutscene playing. I was on correct job, but still was unable to press "Accept" (there was an error message) and had to skip it. After duty finished, I was already in Loches.
Can I review that cutscene again in the Unending Jorney?

Those queue times are a lie. Sometimes it said 10 minutes, and then it popped 3 minutes later...almost missed it, lol.
While the thread title is far from well-formulated, I agree, as I encountered these kind of problems multiple times during my leveling process, ESPECIALLY because you do not know in advance whether talking to NPC XY would trigger a 2 minute cutscene or just the regular dialogues. I missed a couple of cutscenes from the azimsteppe *sidequests* that way.
It would be great if accepting duty during a cutscene would reset your situation and make it so that you initiating the cutscene has never happened before, for ANY cutscene.

There once was a time when ALL mmo's forced players to form up their own groups with friends, guild mates, and strangers. Seems to me that the ability to form groups without doing any work, isn't without its minor annoyances. Sounds, erm, tough?

The other thing also is you can get a average wait times of over 30 mins, so start a leve and queue pops right after. You cancel your leve to accept and then the queue goes back to waiting, now that really annoys me to say the least, lol

DRK questline has another example of an "actual cutscene" that does not appear in the journal. There's a cutscene in the DRK level 56 job quest where you speak with a dying dragon. It has the cut-away, change of camera angle, and so on - it's not just clicking on NPCs to hear them talk. This cutscene does NOT appear in the Unending Journey, which I found to my dismay when I accidentally canceled out of it.
It's possible that all MSQ cutscenes can be found in the book, but there are definitely some non-MSQ cutscenes that cannot. The OP's gripe is reasonable.
