    Suggestion make savage raids 1 item per zone per week.

    Why not make savage drops 1 item per week? This encourages people to go back and do the raids more then once. The way it is now it either takes anywhere from 1 month to 2 months to get an item with books if you are not lucky its not really the best system.

    I know a guy in my FC who got 5 drops from savage and I am still sitting at 0 drops after 2 weeks. There is a huge RNG component with the 2 chest system and the most of the time you get locked out without getting any drops.

    I think this would be good for the game and give people more to do each week. We have a lot of jobs to gear since 1 character can play every job.

    Loot lockouts are just bad design in general, game would be better off with them removed entirely.

    Why would you only do each savage raid one time? I literally do not understand what you are trying to get at.

    Hey let's run each savage only one time and only 1 person get's loot from each one. After that let's not raid until the next savage comes out.

    Each week, you're only allowed to roll on loot your first time through the floor. And if you do run a floor a second time, it reduces the number of chests available to everyone else who is doing it for the first time. So there is no personal reward to running a floor more than once, and you decrease the potential rewards of your party members if you help them clear it after you've already cleared it.

    If everyone is there for the first time this week, there will be two chests per floor. If all of the chests contain BRD gear, the party's BRD gets everything that week and nobody else gets any gear.

    OP suggests an equitable system in which floors be re-runnable for loot, but that the loot wins be limited to one per floor per week. That way, if the all the chests the first time through contain BRD gear, the BRD gets half the chests, the other half go to the floor, and the party can re-run each floor until everyone else has received loot from each floor.

    It may be bad design, but think of it from the developers POV, do you want everyone to land rush the rewards and then have nothing else to do for the week? It is an even worse design to just hand rewards out like candy with no effort. If the content is as easy as some are saying it is, then it is in fact fair.


    Eg, it avoids pay2farm parties where people who cleared it are just making it easier.

    I definitely agree with this suggestion, but that would kill long-term raiding. If you could keep trying until you got your item each week, it would take a month or so to get fully geared for a single class. I know most people don't play with just a single class, but many have "clear 4s" or "gear X class" as objective, so less people would be raiding in the following months

    Now what I think it's good design would be having a checkbox for "drop items only for available classes", that would make progression easier, or at least a bit less random. Maybe increasing chests to 3, so more people could get loot as well
