There's still some of us out there. In fact, I disagree with you saying that there's only charity involved. Personally, my main PvP class is a DPS (Bard, the job I use for ranked 4v4), but I'll play Frontlines as WHM and 8v8 as SCH. I'm simply a lot better as a healer than I am as my main in those modes, for some reason. Besides, as a healer I will usually snag 1-2 kills per Frontlines match, though obviously that's not as much as I would get on a DPS. Overall, I agree with the sentiment because it does seem that there aren't as many healers since 4.0 dropped, but

Yeah, no, please never attempt to balance this game. I don't think the problem is the incentives. It's the XP. Right now, the majority of people in Frontlines aren't usual PvPers, they're PvE players using Frontlines as a way to level DPS classes with shorter queues. Those people are also less likely to switch to a healer if the team needs it because they want XP on a specific class, rather than a better chance at winning. That's the problem behind the situation you're describing, not achievements or minions nobody cares about.
