    Please add some healer incentives

There are never any healers in pvp, if you go into feast it's usually all dps and tanks unless someone reluctantly changes to healer. If no one does, then the match might as well already be over because your team is going to get steamrolled, I've even been in groups where people just abandon the match because no one changed to healer. With no healers, pvp matches just aren't fun, but I can't blame people for not wanting to heal because there's no benefit to it.

It also doesn't help that healing became a lot harder since stormblood which makes people want to heal even less, I have friends who levelled all their jobs in pvp except their healers because they'd "rather level up solely from aurum vale than heal frontlines as it is right now".

Dps and tanks get incentives, they can get kills and assists for a minion in feast and things like battle high and battle fever in frontlines. (yes healers can get these too but why do it as a healer when you can get far more as a tank or dps?)

So please SE, add some healer incentives to pvp. Add achievements to feast and frontlines that give titles and minions for hp restored. Add healer high where healing a certain amount without dying makes your heals faster and stronger and healer fever where healing a certain amount without anyone in your party dying makes all your heals AoE. (Shouldn't count overhealing).

People just need something that will make them want to go healer over dps or tank, right now healing is charity work, there's no reason to do it except to help your team.

You can heal for the glory, winning a feast match as healer is a lot more satisfying than winning as tank or dps.

There's still some of us out there. In fact, I disagree with you saying that there's only charity involved. Personally, my main PvP class is a DPS (Bard, the job I use for ranked 4v4), but I'll play Frontlines as WHM and 8v8 as SCH. I'm simply a lot better as a healer than I am as my main in those modes, for some reason. Besides, as a healer I will usually snag 1-2 kills per Frontlines match, though obviously that's not as much as I would get on a DPS. Overall, I agree with the sentiment because it does seem that there aren't as many healers since 4.0 dropped, but

Yeah, no, please never attempt to balance this game. I don't think the problem is the incentives. It's the XP. Right now, the majority of people in Frontlines aren't usual PvPers, they're PvE players using Frontlines as a way to level DPS classes with shorter queues. Those people are also less likely to switch to a healer if the team needs it because they want XP on a specific class, rather than a better chance at winning. That's the problem behind the situation you're describing, not achievements or minions nobody cares about.

It's not that healers aren't queuing. It's that if people find themselves in a party in a group without a healer then often they expect somebody else to switch to a healer. Sometimes people take the initiative and switch - which is great. If they don't, though, then it just usually leads to a loss.

We don't need more incentives for healers. We need the PvP community to stop expecting everybody else to play a healer and just bite the bullet and do it themselves if one is not present. Granted some people do not have access to a healer or are stubbornly sticking with a particular job because they really want the experience at the end...

...but it's rare to find a group where absolutely nobody has access to a healer.

You know what you get for healing in PvP? Stabbed in the face.

    PvP: Player vs Player.

Getting attacked happens to anyone and everyone. For that same reason, healers ARE needed.

It used to really annoy me when I would look over at other parties and see 8x SMNs with not a single one bothering to switch. I stopped caring at some point, and now so long as they have HW access everyone should have ready access to AST if they want to step up to the plate and help their team win.

Occasionally we get a good leader who politely guilts people into switching, and it helps, but I don't want to see things like healer's high or massive heal buffs for healers who heal a lot. Healers who don't want to be there or who don't understand how to heal are even worse than no healers at all. Some alternative pointless reward like the KOs titles would be nice (though I get a fair number of KOs myself nowadays).

'You can't win without a healer'

'Please add incentives to roll healer'

    ....

    C'mon man.

Hmmm... I think the lack of Feast healers is more related to how horrendously stressful it is and less due to lack of incentives.

And. How FRUSTRATING it can get.
People LoS you all the time and your heals get interrupted, you get focused on as soon as the fight starts, single DPS running into the middle of the entire opposite team for no apparent reason, and so on. The fun never ends.

    And well. The guilt.
If your team loses and you're a DPS it is easy to shrug it off as your healers being lazy. When you ARE the healer, though?
Makes you feel terrible in ways few PvE instances do.

Or maybe that is just me.
... or maybe I just suck. I do seem to win more when I'm NOT going in as a healer...

I personally will be one of THOSE swapping to healer only IF everyone else absolutely refuses to do so. Ugh.

Tl;dr - healing PvP is incredibly stressful, not everyone'a cup of tea. I don't think "incentives" would help out a lot with this.
