There is nothing wrong with WHM. It's the most potent HPS healer in the game right now.

They said WHM is a pure healing class, they gave us that promise. If all you do is spam cure I and II, you are doing it wrong. Cure III, Medica II are my two highest heals in raids. Followed closely by assize if you time your lillies half decently.

Cure II is my third heal SOMETIMES, medica hot is my 4th heal.

I mean, anyone who thinks there is a problem with white mage right now just does not know how to play the class.

There is that thing called 'utility' WHM got nothing of and that's extremely important in this game, you know? That's what's wrong with WHM since I'm pretty sure that fact will bite us in the ass later on. Again. Like, you know, last patch cycle.

Two words: Synergy, and Utility. Sure, heavy healing while in progression phase is nice, but what do you think is going to happen just a month from now?
No one's going to need a "pure healer" when gear is good enough to not nearly be dead by every other AOE.
I like how people only take into consideration the present, and not the future. It's not that hard to have a little foresight with these things. Unless people still think it's fine to have a job that's only useful in the progression phase, which is the stupidest thing I've ever heard.

Hi, welcome to WHM, the pure healing class. We don't need utility because we can do 3x the amount of healing other healers can. If you want utility, reroll an AST. White mage is never, NEVER going to bring utility to the raid. Get over it.

The "synergy" you seek is between the two types of healers. Pure healing, and utility. THAT is synergy, not one class bringing it all to the raid.

If you don't like it, quit and roll AST.

P.S. Who cares about how useful a class is when your group has it on farm and out gears it?

All the healers are in a really good spot atm. Maybe small tweaks here and there, WHM has never been better. Feels like Midas where you can go with any healer comp and still be competitive. The only thing is that WHM atm, is really good in O4S atm and not having one is a real pain.
