Does +magic eva work vs ifrit and moogle?

Doubtful on Ifrit, if it does we're talking 1 in a million scenario as i have yet to "evade" any magical damage from him. i would assume it works with things that are "true" casts, such as what the ghosts do on the batraal/ogre fight, i have evaded quite a few magical attacks from them. If that's the case 1 could also assume it works against the blm moogle. but this is all speculation on my part.

resistance on the other hand works wonders, i notice a drop in damage from ifrit, however no partial resists that i'm aware of. i just hope they are not tied together in anyway, and that my assumption is correct that m.eva only affects your chance to "evade" the attack, rather then also helping to partially resist it.
