0.5macro doesn't work. I actually have a macro to check this I've took from someone for checking macro behaviour here --> https://www.reddit.com/r/ffxiv/comme...wait_05_works/
Just try that, you will see that it takes 14seconds instead of 7sec.

It also doesn't work with 1.5sec (28sec instead of 21sec) nor with 2.5sec (42sec instead of 35sec)

SE said they don't want macro to be responsive enough and not detailed enough on purpose so playing for real is the most viable way at 100%. It's just to help for some things.
