Lore wise, the ananta are expert gem crafters - I'm fairly sure this had some influence in deciding which primal gave us left or right side drops.

Susanoo is the more "battle" oriented primal (as Lakshmi's goal is less to kill you and more to give you peace of mind), so that fits too.

That said though, I was also a tad disappointed because I'm pretty sure weapon drops from Lak could be very aesthetically pleasant.

Maybe in a later patch they will make crafted Lakshmi weapons for glamour purposes, complete with extra shiny "weapon draw" effects like we saw with most HW primals

No. 2 I do completely echo your sentiment when you say you wish the drops were reversed and it was Lakshmi weapons, but as Spiro explained, it makes sense.

I agree with the lore thing, I just have the feeling they missed a great oportunity to give us good looking weapons (I personnaly find the Susano's pretty "simple" while I could see original designs with Lakshmi)
It's a little bit frustrating to see what they can do with relics (in term of creativity) for example and get "mhé" weapons on other occasions

I'm not sure of the complaint. I enjoy the style of the Susano weapons, especially my axe. With Lakshimi I just feel like it'd be some overly flash gold nonsense

I love Lakshmi and I hope one day they will give us Lakshmi weapons ^_^ I wouldn't mind for glamour

I'm still eagerly awaiting crafted Nidhogg, Sophia and Zurvan weapons!
